Spay and Neuter!!

None of our puppies are sold with breeding rights.

Unless we have discussed ahead of time, and you have permission from me in writing you may NOT breed your dog.

You should make plans for neutering or spaying your dog anywhere from 5-6 months old depending on your own vet'€™s protocol. As a responsible pet owner it is your responsibility to fix your dog as soon as it is age appropriate.

I'm sure you want to do your part and spay or neuter your pet. (Listen to Bob Barker- He's speaking the truth.) Unless you and I have specifically talked about your desire to breed your dog you do not have my permission to breed your dog.

Get your dog fixed it is our agreement.

Here are some advantages to having your puppy spayed or neutered:

**Spayed females, there is no mess to deal with during their 21-day heat cycles, which occur every six months—the heat cycle begins in females sometime between six and nine months of age. Spaying a female before her first heat cycle will reduce the chance of mammary tumors or uterine diseases.

**Neutered males are less aggressive than un-neutered males. With a neutered male, the urge to mark their territory will lessen. A neutered male is less likely to roam in search of potential mates. When to spay or neuter Dogs should be spayed or neutered by the time they are between five & six months old.

Both operations are performed under anesthesia and may require an overnight stay at the veterinarian's office. Recovery time is quick, with most dogs resuming normal activity in a few days. Spaying (for females) consists of an ovario-hysterectomy. Neutering involves the removal of the testicles.
